Chuir muid an ceoldrama ‘Annie’ ón Broadway ar stáitse ag an Athenaeum le déanaí. Chuir ár mic léinn taibhealaíona an scéal croíúil seo i láthair faoi stiúradh Clare Kavanagh, ceann ár roinne cheoil, le foireann léiriúcháin den scoth agus lucht féachana díograiseach. Táimid ag súil go mór lenár gcéad léiriú eile faoi láthair agus roinnfimid na sonraí go luath!
THE students and staff in Meánscoil Gharman created their own bit of history recently when they staged their first ever musical in the form of the Broadway hit, ‘Annie’.
The venue for the historic show couldn’t have been more apt because the Athenaeum, in Enniscorthy, is itself steeped in history when it comes to the performing arts.
A spokesperson for the school said the choice of ‘Annie’ proved to be a popular one as the packed audiences revelled in the heart-warming story of orphan Annie whose adventures lead her from rags to the real riches of life ...a loving family.
